Wes started piping in the summer of 2009. He was a featured peformer on the practice chanter at the 2010 Abilene Pipers Burns Supper and met rave reviews in that role. Wes has performed in local parades and Burns Suppers and the Dyess AFB Open House. Wes leaves a wake of swooning lassies where ever he goes. Wes is also very proud of his parents, Jeff and Laura, who continue achieve great things in spite of the profound damage to their ossicles.y watching performances by some of the world's greatest pipers on movies and on TV, along with his strong Scottish family background, but it wasn't until he watched Eric Rigler pipe at Ronald Reagan's funeral that he decided to play. He has performed for local funerals, parades, school sanctioned events, Abilene Art Walk and the 2005 De Leon Peach and Melon Festival.
